• • We have been taking gite holidays in France now for 12 years and this is the best accommodation we have had. The attention to detail in every aspect is very evident, as are the quality of the furniture, furnishings and entertainment - the pool is fantastic and, as a keen fisherman, Danny enjoyed the lake very much....We particularly loved the "kiln" bathroom (fabulous shower) and the lovely beamed bedrooms.

  • Enjoyed our stay at Le Ruault very much. The fabulous pool provided hours of fun, even during the occasional downpour! Found a lovely restaurant/cafe in Montreuil-Bellay (La Barbacane) opposite château gate - good service and value and a wide choice of meals.
